My synth isn't sending MIDI out of the USB port. How do I send MIDI over USB?

Check your device's manual to see how to set the MIDI settings. If you have multiple output types on your device, you may need to set the device's MIDI output mode to USB. Some synths are only configured to send MIDI out of the dedicated MIDI output by default.
