The small metal header pins on the back of printed circuit boards are handy ways to connect power and expansion modules, but should be dealt with carefully as they are susceptible to bending and breaking, even during shipping. First, look closely at the board to ensure the pins are just bent, and not torn out. If pins have completely separated from the module, you may have torn not only the pin itself but also connections printed into the circuit board, and the module will need repair. If the pins are merely bent and not making contact with one another, you may try to gently bend them back into place. Secure the module with one hand on a solid surface, and using a small set of needle nose pliers, you may be able to bend the pin into a straight position again. Be very careful however, as this can damage your module. If you are not comfortable with bending the pins, reach out to us in an email describing the issue and we will do our best to help.
