Does the Gator tabletop set work with tiered stands?

The Gator tabletop set is not a good fit for tiered stands. It has a lip to keep the table in place on the stand, but this also blocks any attachment that could accomodate a second tier. You may be able to use another commercially available flat surface that leaves room for the tier attachment, such as a piece of pre-cut wood or shelving.
